Time has passed,
while my soul and body have not been aligned.
I ponder some more and place my face into my hands.
Is this the right time to unwind?
A voice reverberates through the small room,
but whose could it be?
My heart, heavy, weighed down with sorrowful pleas.
Bursts of finely tuned energy.
The essence of humanity,
emotional, courageous, and beautiful.
Pushing my essence through cables of wire,
taxing the energetic system.
Simultaneously gasping for air,
and hitting a wall,
an empty vessel.
Breathe,
slowly,
release the tension.
Breathe,
slowly,
acknowledge the need.
Breathe,
slowly,
filling with chi.
Keystrokes of thoughts begin to form,
pieces of the puzzle come together.
Momentary relief and a sigh come about.
Removing any sense of former self-doubt.
For I am a dreary soul on an unknown mission,
fluttering about.
