Day # 3 – Beautiful Relationships
1.) Repeat the exercise from the first day. (I’m sure you have a handle on it now.) As soon as you wake up in the morning write down 10 things that you would like to have in your life (goals, dreams, aspirations, things, places to go and visit) and be grateful for them in advance. Write them as if you already have them, not as if you will have them in the future, then write why you are grateful for each of them. Read over each of the items on the list, in your mind or out loud. After reading and focusing on each item tap into that feeling of gratitude. Visualize yourself already having each of the items, the more detailed the visualization, the better. Attach feeling to each of them. Feel, as you would feel if you had them already. Feel the happiness, the joy, the serenity, etc… the goal is for you to get the chills every time you visualize each item.
2.) Choose 3 of your closest relationships and pull up your favorite picture of each person.
3.) Write down 5 things you are most grateful for about each person while looking at the photo.
4.) Begin each sentence with “thank you”, say their name, and what specifically your grateful for.
5.) Carry the photos with you today, or reference back to them throughout the day. Be sure that you look at them at least 3 times during the day. Each time you see them, say “Thank you and their name”
6.) Right before you go to sleep tonight, hold your rock in your hand and think of the best thing that happened to you today.
Try to hold onto that feeling of gratefulness as you doze off to sleep tonight.
